Accountant/Economist – Fixed Assets & Cash Management

About the role

This position is responsible for managing fixed‑asset accounting, cash operations and related reporting to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Account for fixed and intangible assets, including initial and subsequent valuations, depreciation accruals and write‑offs.
• Prepare statistical reports on fixed assets and contribute to corporate income‑tax registers.
• Process bank payments, reconcile cash transactions, and manage POS terminal installations.
• Handle cash‑collection applications, open/close transaction passports, and coordinate with bank staff.
• Oversee account agreements, perform monthly cash planning and ensure timely financial close.
• Generate mandatory reports for the National Bank and monitor travel and entertainment expenses for retail staff.
• Draft and update internal accounting policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Higher education in accounting.
• At least two years of experience in a similar accounting function, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, legal regulations and IFRS (advantageous).
• Intermediate level of English.
• High accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
