Quality Control Technician (QC Inspector)

About the role

The Quality Control Technician (QC Inspector) is responsible for testing and inspecting materials, components, and assemblies to ensure they meet product specifications and customer requirements. The role supports safety, quality, and operational excellence across manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑process, finished‑product, and receiving inspections using dimensional, visual, non‑destructive and hardness testing methods.
• Measure and verify product dimensions against current drawings and specifications.
• Identify and document defects, root‑cause errors, and initiate corrective actions (NCR/CPAR).
• Maintain calibration status of gauges and instruments; update the calibration database.
• Prepare and manage inspection records, acceptance/rejection documentation, and material test certificates.
• Coordinate internal and outsourced equipment calibration activities.
• Read work orders and technical drawings to determine inspection requirements.

Required profile

• Familiarity with corporate quality policies, procedures, and the Quality Management System.
• Strong commitment to safety, security, environmental protection, and continuous improvement.
• Attention to detail and ability to work across multiple business areas.
• Capability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.

Required skills

• Dimensional measurement techniques.
• Visual inspection.
• Non‑destructive testing (NDT).
• Hardness testing.
• Calibration of measurement instruments.
• Use of calibration databases.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings/specifications.
• Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) processes and NCR/CPAR handling.
