About the role
Join Wabtec’s Supply Chain Operations team in Astana as a Material Planner. You will ensure material availability for locomotive projects, supporting buyers and project teams across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities
- Create and activate parts in the internal ERP system and place orders.
- Calculate material demand and adjust orders based on consumption analysis.
- Collaborate with buyers to align delivery dates with project timelines.
- Support cross‑functional teams by providing accurate material data.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain operations or logistics.
- Fluent in English and Russian.
- Legal authorization to work in Kazakhstan.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems (material master creation, order processing).
- Strong analytical skills for demand calculation and consumption analysis.
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination.
