Lead HVAC Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead HVAC Engineer to drive the HVAC engineering activities across all project phases, from Pre‑FEED through detailed design, for industrial and oil & gas projects. The role involves technical leadership, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HVAC engineering activities throughout Pre‑FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design phases.
• Coordinate the HVAC discipline with other engineering teams, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Perform and review HVAC calculations, including heating and cooling load calculations, ventilation, equipment sizing, and system performance analysis.
• Develop and review design deliverables, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
• Interface with equipment vendors, review documentation, and integrate vendor packages into the overall design.
• Ensure compliance with international engineering standards, client specifications, applicable codes, and local regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, conduct quality reviews, and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• More than 10 years of experience in HVAC engineering for industrial and/or oil & gas projects.
• Proven experience delivering Pre‑FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design projects.
• Strong knowledge of international engineering standards and codes such as ASHRAE, ISO, and NFPA.
• Demonstrated ability to perform and verify HVAC calculations and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Experience coordinating with equipment vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
