Head of Growth

About the role

GSM Kazakhstan is looking for a dynamic Head of Growth to lead its expansion in the Kazakh market. You will own the end‑to‑end growth strategy, driving rider demand and driver supply while building a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute Kazakhstan’s growth strategy across acquisition, activation, retention, reactivation, and driver recruitment.
• Develop integrated marketing plans covering brand, performance marketing, CRM, partnerships, referral programs, and local activations.
• Analyze data and customer insights to experiment, optimize CAC, LTV, conversion, retention, ROI and marketplace health.
• Build dashboards, performance reports and actionable insights for strategic decisions.
• Recruit, coach and manage a Growth team with clear KPIs and a culture of ownership.
• Lead cross‑functional projects from planning through post‑launch optimization, coordinating with Operations, Product, Commercial, Finance and Global teams.
• Manage agencies, partners, budgets, timelines, risks and resources to deliver measurable impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Analytics or related field; MBA a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in growth, marketing, commercial or business strategy, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Background in ride‑hailing, mobility, marketplaces, fintech, delivery or e‑commerce.
• Proven record of scaling business growth and leading cross‑functional projects.
• Fluent in English; Russian and/or Kazakh preferred.
