Data Scientist – Pricing & Optimization

About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist specialized in pricing to drive revenue growth and cost savings through advanced analytics and machine-learning solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate pricing, forecasting and optimisation challenges into data-driven projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop and pilot end-to-end ML projects covering problem formulation, modelling, validation and presentation of results.
• Collaborate with data engineers to gather required datasets and assess feasibility of production deployment.
• Design and analyse A/B tests with analysts, defining metrics, splits and interpreting outcomes.
• Build and evaluate models including classical ML, deep learning, time-series and uplift modelling; perform error analysis and performance monitoring.
• Prepare code and model artefacts for hand-off to the technical team responsible for deployment.
• Own model quality in production, monitor key metrics and lead improvement initiatives when degradation occurs.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end ML projects.
• Strong knowledge of classical machine-learning techniques (feature engineering, classification, regression, boosting).
• Hands-on experience with uplift modelling and time-series forecasting applied to real business problems.
• Demonstrated ability to work with business stakeholders on pricing, B2C, LTV, retention and optimisation challenges.
• Proficient in Python for data science and comfortable writing clean, reusable code.
• Confident SQL user capable of building datasets, writing joins and performing data analysis.
