Technical Product Manager (System Analyst)

About the role

Salmon is building the next generation of card products, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, virtual and one‑time virtual cards. As a Technical Product Manager you will own the product from business request through production, working closely with engineering, QA and external payment providers.

Key responsibilities

• Ship new card capabilities such as Apple Pay, Google Pay integration, card tokenization and virtual cards.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery, coordinating engineering, QA, internal teams and external providers from request to release.
• Design new card features, APIs and system integrations, both from scratch and on existing services.
• Write clear technical documentation and manage release processes in Jira and Confluence.
• Monitor service performance post‑release and resolve production incidents.

Required profile

• 3+ years as a Technical Product Manager or System Analyst, preferably in fintech or banking.
• Hands‑on experience with payment services and a solid understanding of issuers, acquirers and payment systems.
• Strong knowledge of microservice architecture and system design.
• Experience designing APIs and integrations from scratch.
• Proficiency in SQL and incident analysis in production environments.
