Tatar Language Teacher – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a native or near‑native Tatar speaker with expert‑level English proficiency to join our team on a remote contract basis. The role focuses on high‑quality transcription, translation, and linguistic analysis of multimedia content.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe Tatar‑language videos, capturing accurate timestamps and speaker identification.
• Translate complex Tatar materials into English and vice‑versa, preserving contextual and conceptual meaning.
• Analyze grammatical structures, tonal nuances, and conceptual meanings at an expert level.
• Detect and annotate emotional and tonal cues expressed by speakers within audio‑visual content.
• Produce clear documentation and annotation reports for language data.
• Collaborate closely with the client’s team, providing feedback to improve data quality and project outcomes.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in both Tatar and English.
• Proven expertise in transcription, translation, and advanced linguistic analysis.
• Strong ability to identify and annotate emotional tone in language data.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote setting.
• Experience in documentation and reporting for linguistics or language‑related projects.
