Category Specialist – Grocery Market

About the role

Wolt Market is expanding its grocery delivery service across Kazakhstan. As a Category Specialist you will support the performance of assigned product categories by managing assortment, pricing, promotions, and supplier relationships. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the right products are available at the right price, delivering a great customer experience and driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor sales, profitability, assortment performance and key business KPIs for assigned categories.
• Support assortment planning and continuously improve product selection based on customer needs and business performance.
• Coordinate pricing updates and promotional activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, supporting negotiations and identifying opportunities to improve commercial terms.
• Work cross‑functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Content, Marketing and Finance to execute category initiatives.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and increase operational efficiency.
• Use data analysis to uncover growth opportunities and support business decisions.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in Category Management within the food industry.
• Background in buying, merchandising, retail, FMCG or e‑commerce.
• Experience working with suppliers and managing commercial relationships.
