About the role

The Head of the Department for Working with Graduates will lead the Board’s activities, organise its operations and manage the team responsible for supporting alumni of the national scholarship programme.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the department.
• Organise and supervise the Board’s work and its staff.
• Develop and implement policies in line with Kazakh legislation and internal regulations.
• Coordinate communication with graduates, both domestically and internationally.
• Prepare analytical reports, documentation and presentations for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety, fire safety and sanitary standards.

Required profile

• Higher (or postgraduate) education, preferably with additional management training and certification.
• Minimum 4 years of work experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• Knowledge of the Constitution of Kazakhstan, Civil Code, Labour Code, Administrative Procedure Code, and relevant laws on corporations, education, languages and international scholarships.
• Strong understanding of modern management practices and both domestic and foreign best‑practice experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using modern information‑technology tools for document management and data processing.
• Ability to work with large data sets and generate analytical reports.
• Experience with office automation and organisational techniques.
