Technician

About the role

The Technician is responsible for the support, repair, and maintenance of cranes, auxiliary parts, and lifting equipment in a local maintenance shop. The role ensures safe and reliable operation of all equipment while complying with quality, safety, health, ecological guidelines, local regulations, and manufacturers' recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide trouble‑free and secure operation of all types of lifting equipment, ensuring timely and quality maintenance.
• Conduct technical monitoring of protective devices on mechanical equipment and facilities.
• Organize and prepare calendar plans for inspections, checks, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate requests for major repairs, manage spare parts, tools, and related documentation.
• Participate in the acceptance, installation, and modernization of new equipment.
• Evaluate work places and replace inefficient equipment with more productive solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in maintenance and repair of cranes, auxiliary parts, and lifting equipment.
• Knowledge of quality, safety, health, ecological instructions and local regulations.
• Ability to organize maintenance schedules and prepare technical documentation.
• Capability to work in a shop environment performing heavy manual tasks.
