System Analyst – Payments & Finance Operations

About the role

The OPS Tech Payments & Finance stream is expanding key initiatives across operational payments and finance processes. We need a System Analyst to add analytical capacity, strengthen methodology, and build scalable, compliant solutions for large payment platforms and finance‑related operations such as branch cash, clearing, and reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Translate operational and business requirements into structured product specifications (mock‑ups, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria).
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to capture day‑to‑day work and turn it into clear, repeatable processes.
• Design operational interfaces and the underlying workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with existing journeys.
• Connect processes to underlying systems, assess integration capabilities (APIs, queues, data exchange) and define required changes.
• Support migration and extension of functionality on the new platform, hand over specifications to development, and assist with testing, releases, and stakeholder demos.
• Drive automation across payment platforms, branch cash operations, clearing, reconciliation, and related finance processes to reduce manual effort and improve audit readiness.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience as a business or system analyst in banking or financial services.
• Solid understanding of banking products, operational processes, and the regulatory environment.
• Knowledge of the payments domain (card transactions, settlements, clearing, reconciliation, accounting).
• Hands‑on experience designing operational interfaces, complex objects, and workflows.
• Proven ability to work with operations teams and embed new processes into existing journeys.
• Experience designing compliant processes in financial services.
• Understanding of integrations (APIs, queues, data exchange) and using logs/data to investigate issues.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; English B2 level.
