Solution Architect / Lead JavaScript Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect or Lead JavaScript Developer with Digital TV and Set‑Top Box expertise to join a large‑scale program building a centralized household Multimedia Hub. The role focuses on designing and delivering multimedia services for millions of users across Europe and the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Digital TV products and services for the Multimedia Hub.
• Design CPE and UI architecture for Set‑Top Box devices.
• Collaborate with E2E architects, business analysts, product owners, development teams and stakeholders.
• Drive innovations, proof‑of‑concepts and architectural improvements for new and existing products.
• Maintain and propose enhancements to software development and integration processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of software development and system integration experience in multimedia/Digital TV or Broadband (EPAM D4/SA1/SA2 seniority).
• Proven ability to create new architecture that aligns with existing approaches.
• Experience in dependency identification, tracking and performance optimisation.
• Strong knowledge of video encoding, streaming and media delivery technologies.
• Expertise in broadcast and IP‑based Digital TV, including VOD, PPV and OTT streaming.
• Fluent English; experience with RDK solutions and E2E video management is a plus.
• Comfort working in multinational, multicultural environments and Agile settings.
