Senior Fullstack QA Engineer

About the role

The Grocery Team is looking for a Senior Fullstack QA Engineer to ensure a flawless end‑to‑end experience for grocery customers, from store selection through checkout and order creation. You will work closely with product, engineering and partner teams to validate pricing, inventory, discounts and grocery‑specific scenarios across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Test the complete grocery customer journey, including store selection, catalog browsing, search, product details, cart, checkout, payment and order creation.
• Validate prices, discounts, inventory levels, product availability and store‑specific assortments.
• Cover grocery‑specific cases such as weighted items, substitutions, unavailable products, quantity limits and minimum order values.
• Verify integrations between storefront, catalog, pricing, inventory, order, payment and delivery services, as well as third‑party partner APIs.
• Validate fallback and degradation behavior when services or partners are unavailable.
• Ensure consistent behavior across mobile apps, WebView and backend APIs.
• Develop and maintain automated functional, integration, API and end‑to‑end tests.
• Participate in requirements reviews, test strategy definition, release validation and production issue investigations.

Required profile

• Strong experience in functional, integration, API and end‑to‑end testing of e‑commerce or grocery platforms.
• Deep understanding of microservices, event‑driven and asynchronous architectures, including retries, timeouts, idempotency and eventual consistency.
• Proven ability to investigate issues using logs, metrics, traces, databases and message queues.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and AWS environments.

Required skills

• REST and/or gRPC API testing (Postman or similar).
• Automated test frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress or Appium.
• Observability tools: Grafana, CloudWatch, Kibana.
• Message‑queue platforms: Kafka.
• SQL for data validation.
• CI/CD tools and Docker.
• AWS cloud services.
