Senior C++ Gameplay Engineer

About the role

Playrix, one of the world’s top mobile‑game developers, is building an AI‑first engineering culture and seeks a Senior C++ Gameplay Engineer to help drive feature development, technical stability, and performance optimization across its popular titles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core gameplay mechanics and logic.
• Architect and review feature designs.
• Develop UI components and visual effects.
• Profile and optimise memory usage and frame‑rate.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of commercial development experience with C++ and/or Unity.
• Track record of shipping production‑ready projects.
• Understanding of AI‑driven development tools and ability to integrate them into the workflow.
• Experience designing software architecture.

Required skills

• C++ (modern C++14/17, STL)
• Lua and Python for scripting tasks
• Graphics APIs: OpenGL ES, Metal
• CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Version control and collaboration tools: GitHub, Asana, Amplitude
• AI assistance tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex
