Sales Assistant Manager – Central Asia

About the role

Trina Solar is seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant Manager to lead the growth of its module products across the Central Asia region. The role combines strategic business development with hands‑on sales execution, representing the company at key industry events and building strong relationships with utilities, developers and EPC contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue and market‑share targets for module products in Central Asia.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers, including utility companies, project developers, EPC contractors and other stakeholders.
• Conduct market analysis to uncover opportunities, trends, competitive landscape and potential new markets.
• Explore and develop new markets within the region to drive business growth and increase market presence.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to create promotional materials and product demonstrations.
• Negotiate and close sales agreements while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Represent Trina Solar at industry events, trade shows and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the renewable energy industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving business growth and developing new markets.
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy market in Central Asia.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the APAC region.
