Russian QA Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Russian Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Russian AI training projects. This remote, hourly contractor role involves reviewing AI‑generated content, providing detailed feedback, and ensuring contributors meet our quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Spot‑check Russian items, identify quality issues and provide feedback via Discord.
• Communicate updates, guidelines and workflow changes to trainers and QAs.
• Handle trainer/QA questions on Russian wording, grammar, cultural context and edge cases.
• Activate and monitor inactive contributors, track follow‑ups and flag availability issues.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as style guides, FAQs, trackers and onboarding materials.
• Run onboarding and training sessions to explain rubrics, quality standards and Russian‑specific style requirements.
• Identify recurring quality gaps and propose process improvements for scalable QA.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native Russian proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong command of English for following guidelines and providing feedback.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Russian writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA or related language‑review workflows.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators or reviewers.
• Highly detail‑oriented, organized and comfortable using remote collaboration tools.
