RFQ Specialist – Remote

About the role

Xometry is seeking an RFQ Specialist to join its Operations team. In this remote, full‑time position you will manage supplier quotations, prepare RFQ documentation and ensure pricing aligns with client expectations across a fast‑paced digital manufacturing marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential suppliers, building strong relationships.
• Collect, analyse and compare supplier quotations to meet specific client requirements.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to secure the best value for the company.
• Prepare clear, complete RFQ documents and pricing proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of all RFQ activities and supplier communications.
• Collaborate with Sales, Sourcing and other departments to ensure seamless cross‑functional coordination.
• Monitor industry trends and market conditions to support strategic RFQ decisions.

Required profile

• Strong written and spoken English (B2/C1 level); additional languages are a plus.
• Prior experience in RFQ, procurement or order management; experience in metalworking or on‑demand manufacturing is advantageous.
• Proven analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple RFQs simultaneously.
• Self‑starter who can resolve unexpected or complex issues independently.
• Reliable home office setup with stable internet connection for full remote participation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems and transactional IT tools.
