RFQ Specialist

About the role

Xometry is seeking a detail‑oriented RFQ Specialist to join its Operations team. In this remote position you will manage supplier quotations, prepare RFQ documentation, and ensure pricing aligns with client requirements while collaborating across sales, sourcing and other functions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential suppliers, building strong relationships.
• Collect, analyze and compare supplier quotations to meet specific client needs.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve optimal value.
• Prepare and present complete RFQ documents and pricing proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of all RFQ activities and supplier communications.
• Coordinate with Sales, Sourcing and other departments for seamless cross‑functional execution.
• Monitor industry trends and market conditions to support strategic RFQ decisions.

Required profile

• Strong written and spoken English (B2/C1 level or higher).
• Prior experience in RFQ, procurement or order management.
• Experience in metalworking or on‑demand manufacturing is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and transactional IT tools preferred.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple RFQs simultaneously.
• Self‑starter who can solve unexpected or complex issues independently.
• Reliable home office setup with stable internet for full remote participation.
