Planning Manager – Russian Speaking

About the role

We are seeking a Planning Manager who is fluent in Russian and English to join our Almaty office. The role will support the Project Manager and the wider project team by providing a clear, time‑based vision of construction activities and ensuring that planning standards are applied across complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project master programme, integrating contractors’ and subcontractors’ schedules.
• Prepare weekly and monthly construction schedules, monitor progress, and update the master programme accordingly.
• Analyse interactions between project components, identify constraints, and propose alternative construction strategies.
• Recommend acceleration or optimisation measures to keep the project on track.
• Supervise on‑site contractor progress, checking the adequacy of resources and equipment.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing monthly client reports.
• Participate in project review meetings and flag any planning‑related risks.
• Maintain additional schedules such as the Project Execution Plan, Procurement/Delivery Schedule, Engineering Deliverables Register, Construction Execution Plan, Commissioning Plan, and resource histograms.

Required profile

• Open to Kazakh or foreign citizens with fluency in written and spoken Russian and English.
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in planning management on construction sites involving international stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding project plans and contractor scheduling.
