About the role
The Logistics & Supply Chain Manager for CIS markets leads end‑to‑end after‑sales parts logistics across the region. The role ensures efficient, cost‑effective warehousing, transportation and inventory management while supporting network expansion and high service levels.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and monitor after‑sales parts logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory, import clearance and inbound/outbound transportation.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with vendors, suppliers and manufacturers across the CIS region.
- Manage relationships with logistics providers, enforce service levels and monitor KPIs, SLAs and cost optimisation.
- Identify gaps, create continuous‑improvement plans and drive operational performance.
- Act as liaison between OEM, regional headquarters and local stakeholders such as distributors, dealers and 3PL providers.
- Support setup, optimisation and ongoing management of service‑center parts operations.
- Implement strategies to streamline processes, improve efficiency and reduce costs while ensuring compliance with quality, service and financial targets.
- Perform data analysis and reporting to highlight issues, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Lead, coach and develop team members, overseeing training and performance management.
- Prepare and control logistics budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
- Fluent in Russian and English.
- Solid experience with import processes to Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.
- Strong knowledge of spare‑parts supply chain management, including inbound, storage and outbound distribution.
- Experience with automotive spare parts, including critical and high‑value components.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Russian language.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, e.g., SAP.
- Coordination with third‑party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Understanding of customs regulations and import/export compliance in CIS countries.
- Knowledge of reverse logistics processes (returns, repairs, scrapping, disposal).
