About the role
Join PMI’s transformation journey as an Operational Training & Development Supervisor. You will lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of technical and leadership training programs that equip our manufacturing workforce with the skills needed for a smoke‑free future.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a factory capability‑building strategy aligned with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Lead the Education & Training Pillar within the OPEN+ framework, overseeing knowledge management, governance and people excellence.
- Establish competency frameworks, qualification matrices, career pathways and certification programs for critical operational roles.
- Identify capability gaps and create talent acquisition, onboarding and training plans to meet evolving business needs.
- Define, monitor and analyse training KPIs to assess learning effectiveness, compliance and operational impact.
- Partner with manufacturing leaders to ensure technical, quality and performance standards are consistently met.
- Promote a safety‑first culture and ensure adherence to EHS, sustainability and company standards.
- Maintain accurate training documentation, reporting and learning records in relevant systems.
- Manage the department budget to maximise return on training investments.
- Coach and develop the training team, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, Management, Learning & Development or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, capability building, training & development, quality or operational excellence (FMCG, pharmaceutical or similar).
- At least 3 years of people‑leadership experience with a proven record of developing and motivating teams.
