Medical Manager

About the role

The Medical Manager will lead scientific activities for one or more therapeutic areas, translating global medical strategies into impactful country execution. This hybrid role combines field presence with office work to drive medical education, scientific exchange, and external engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver medical education initiatives such as webinars, scientific sessions and therapeutic‑area learning programs.
• Lead high‑level scientific engagement with key opinion leaders, medical experts and healthcare professionals, ensuring compliant, evidence‑based interactions.
• Gather and synthesize external insights from HCPs, congresses and real‑world practice to influence therapeutic area direction.
• Develop partnerships with medical societies, academic institutions and external collaborators, representing Novartis at scientific events.

Required profile

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent).
• 2–3 + years of experience in Medical Affairs or customer‑facing scientific roles.
• Strong scientific expertise with ability to interpret and communicate clinical data.
• High integrity, ethical judgment and patient‑centric mindset.
