About the role

The organization seeks a qualified Internal Auditor to assess and enhance the effectiveness of its corporate governance, operational and financial processes. The role involves evaluating internal control risks, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and safeguarding the entity's assets.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the adequacy, efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls across strategic, operational and financial areas.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness and reliability of accounting records and financial reporting.
• Evaluate the efficiency of business processes and the protection of company resources and assets.
• Ensure that control systems comply with Kazakhstan laws, internal regulations and supervisory guidelines.
• Apply international audit standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in audit activities.
• Prepare analytical reports, risk assessments and recommendations for senior management.

Required profile

• Higher professional education in accounting, audit, finance, economics or law.
• At least 5 years of experience in audit and/or accounting functions.
• Familiarity with Kazakhstan legislation (Constitution, Civil Code, Labor Code, etc.) and relevant presidential decrees.
• Knowledge of international audit standards and IFRS.
• Certificates from relevant professional courses are desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with International Auditing Standards.
• Understanding and application of IFRS.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office and modern information technologies for documentation and data analysis.
