IND Technical Lead

About the role

The IND Technical Lead will oversee the technical execution of Industrial and Facilities Division projects in Kazakhstan, ensuring they meet contractual, regulatory and Bureau Veritas quality and safety standards. The role provides technical guidance to project teams and serves as the primary technical contact for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the technical execution of all Industrial and Facilities Division projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, local regulations and Bureau Veritas quality and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance and serve as the primary technical contact for clients, reviewing and approving project plans, design documents and technical specifications.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity and service delivery across the division.
• Collaborate with department heads and the Industrial Services Operations Manager to integrate industry services with broader company offerings.
• Represent Bureau Veritas in meetings with clients, industry associations and regulatory bodies, and mentor the technical team.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas industrial projects.
• Higher technical education or equivalent; technical certificates are a plus.
• Fluent in English, Kazakh and Russian.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with P&L management and budgeting.
