ICS Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Cyber Security Specialist to protect critical control infrastructure within the Oil & Gas sector. The role focuses on safeguarding DCS, PLC, and SIS environments against cyber threats while ensuring operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cybersecurity controls for industrial control systems.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses on OT networks.
• Monitor security events using SIEM, IPS and other detection tools, and lead incident response activities.
• Manage patching, antivirus, and access‑control mechanisms across Windows‑based OT assets.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate security measures without impacting production.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in control‑systems engineering, DCS/PLC/SIS support, or instrumentation maintenance within Oil & Gas or chemical manufacturing.
• At least 3 years hands‑on experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity, including protection, detection and response.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects and common cybersecurity tools.
