Head of Sales – Central Asia

About the role

The company, a leading global mining equipment OEM, is seeking a Head of Sales to lead its service business across Central Asia, focusing on Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape the commercial strategy, grow aftermarket revenue, and build long‑term partnerships with mining customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for aftermarket services, service agreements, upgrades, consumables and capital equipment.
• Drive growth of the service business while supporting capital equipment sales where appropriate.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with mining companies and key stakeholders in the region.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing sales organisation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet commercial and operational objectives.
• Identify new market opportunities and support expansion across Central Asia.

Required profile

• Proven track record within a mining equipment OEM.
• Experience leading sales teams and delivering sustainable commercial growth.
• Strong knowledge of the mining industry in Central Asia, especially Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
• Demonstrated success in growing aftermarket and service revenues.
• Fluent Russian language skills.
• Excellent relationship‑building and leadership capabilities.
