Food & Beverage Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results‑oriented Food & Beverage Director to lead the F&B department at Swissôtel Wellness Resort Alatau Almaty. You will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations, driving revenue, maintaining high service standards, and developing a motivated team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Food & Beverage strategy aligned with brand standards.
• Prepare, control, and monitor the department budget, revenue, and operating costs.
• Drive sales and profitability across restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service.
• Analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and brand quality standards.
• Oversee menu development, product availability, and guest amenity quality.
• Lead, train, and develop the F&B team, handling recruitment and performance management.
• Maintain high guest satisfaction, addressing feedback and complaints promptly.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to achieve overall hotel objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a senior Food & Beverage management position, preferably in an international 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Strong track record of managing multiple F&B outlets and teams.
• Solid understanding of F&B financial performance, budgeting, and operations.
• Fluent English (mandatory); knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
