Financial Due Diligence Manager – Transaction Services (Deals)

About the role

As a Financial Due Diligence Manager within Transaction Services, you will lead buy‑side and sell‑side due diligence engagements, turning complex financial data into clear transaction insights for partners and clients. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring analyses meet scope and drive informed deal decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day engagement management: plan workstreams, coordinate information requests, and keep stakeholders aligned.
• Oversee databook workflow, guide junior team members, and ensure analysis meets scope requirements.
• Lead review of target performance, quality of earnings, working capital, cash flow, net debt, and IFRS/GAAP issues.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior managers, directors, partners, and clients under tight timelines.
• Review and comment on databooks, write and present diligence reports.
• Manage engagement risks, prepare internal documentation, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Participate in business development: contribute to proposals, pitches, and follow‑on work.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, advisory, transactions or M&A, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field; professional designation (ACCA/CPA/CFA) is a plus.
• Strong credibility in technical discussions on accounting policies, IFRS/GAAP, valuation and sector‑specific issues.
• Proven ability to drive conclusions under ambiguity and manage senior stakeholder expectations.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and databook‑based analysis.
• Power BI and Alteryx for data visualization and analytics.
• Familiarity with AI‑powered assistants such as Copilot or Harvey.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards.
