Financial Accountant / Manager – CIS Region (12‑Month Contract)

About the role

Binance is seeking a senior Financial Accountant/Manager to oversee accounting and reporting for the CIS region on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. You will ensure accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and timely tax reporting while supporting strategic finance projects.

Key responsibilities

• Post all transactions in Netsuite (Oracle) for the CIS region.
• Prepare month‑end closing packages and submit regulatory reports on schedule.
• Manage tax reporting and ensure compliance with local legislation.
• Maintain accurate records in the 1C system and reconcile with Netsuite for Kazakhstan.
• Ensure adherence to IFRS, internal policies, and regional regulations.
• Liaise with consultants, regulators, banks, and auditors.
• Participate in assigned finance projects and budgeting cycles.
• Provide financial analysis and decision‑support insights.
• Reconcile all regional accounts and archive documentation properly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Fluency in Russian and English.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in crypto or financial services.
• Experience with Big 4 or other accounting firms is a plus.
• Professional accounting qualification (DipIFR, ACCA, CPA) is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax codes.
• Advanced Excel skills and willingness to learn Oracle/Netsuite.
• Team player with excellent analytical and communication abilities.
