Early Childhood Educator

About the role

Mulberry Academy is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join its on‑site team in Astana. This full‑time position focuses on delivering play‑based, inquiry‑led learning experiences that support the holistic development of young children.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate lessons and activities that nurture cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Observe, document, and assess each child’s progress, adapting approaches as needed.
• Prepare learning materials and maintain organized classroom resources.
• Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and events.
• Uphold academy policies on child safety, inclusion, and wellbeing.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal abilities, including clear communication, empathy, and relationship‑building with children, families, and staff.
• Solid knowledge of early childhood development milestones and child‑centered pedagogy.
• Creative mindset to design playful, imaginative learning experiences.
• Excellent organizational skills for lesson planning, classroom management, and time management.
• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a preschool or early learning setting is highly beneficial.
• Commitment to inclusive, non‑discriminatory practices and child safeguarding.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Astana and collaborate within a diverse educational team.
