Commercial Analyst

About the role

Chevron Eurasia is looking for an experienced commercial professional with strong commercial and analytical capabilities, knowledge of Kazakhstan's crude oil and natural gas infrastructure and markets, and proven experience in economic evaluation, stakeholder engagement, commercial contracting and senior-level communication. The role builds internal and external relationships, develops commercial insights and supports strategic business and infrastructure activities. Applications are accepted until 11 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercial and analytical support for Eurasia commercial and transportation infrastructure activities.
• Develop and support decision analysis and economic evaluation of commercial and infrastructure opportunities and alternatives.
• Apply knowledge of Kazakhstan's crude oil and natural gas infrastructure and markets to develop commercial insights and support strategic analysis and decision-making.
• Build external relationships to support business objectives, influence stakeholders and promote alignment with Company positions.
• Develop strong internal relationships and collaborate with technical and functional experts on commercial and infrastructure activities.
• Support the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial agreements related to Eurasia commercial and infrastructure activities.
• Develop communication materials and engagement plans for internal and external meetings, including senior leadership engagements.
• Undertake regional and international business travel as required.

Required profile

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Kazakhstan/Caspian oil, gas or infrastructure experience preferred.
• JV, national oil companies, government or infrastructure-operator experience advantageous.
• Ability to independently structure complex commercial issues and develop clear recommendations.
• Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
