Bank Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Bank Accountant to join Epiroc’s Finance team in Kazakhstan. The role focuses on accurate execution of banking transactions, cash‑management activities and compliance with currency‑control requirements in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process payment orders in national and foreign currencies and handle foreign currency payment documentation.
• Receive, process and record bank statements in 1C and BPCS, and reconcile cash balances across BPCS, 1C and SAP BW.
• Liaise with banks on operations and currency‑control matters, and prepare cash‑flow information for financial reporting.
• Maintain accounts receivable records, organise banking documentation and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field with at least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in treasury or banking operations.
• Fluent Russian, working proficiency in Kazakh and English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of 1C (mandatory).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Experience with BPCS (advantage).
• Understanding of banking operations, foreign currency payments and currency‑control requirements.
