Arts & Culture Producer

Job description
About the role
inVision, inDrive's in-house marketing, content and storytelling engine, is looking for an Arts & Culture Producer to lead its art activations: public installations, exhibitions, live events and cultural partnerships that carry its initiatives' messages to a mass audience. The role works within the Media, Art and Narrative domain and takes every activation from first idea to the moment the audience meets the work, designing it to spread through press, social, out-of-home and the inDrive app.
Key responsibilities
- Build the art activations approach across initiatives: where art adds the most value, which formats to use and how it fits each comms plan and budget.
- Deliver activations end to end: artist selection, commissioning, production, logistics, installation and on-site delivery.
- Hire and manage contractors (fabricators, AV and build teams) and hold them to a high standard of finish.
- Manage budgets, timelines, suppliers and venues for every activation.
- Plan earned media and content from the start so each activation reaches press, social and out-of-home.
- Agree impact goals before launch, then work with Project Managers and research partners to show how the work shifted the audience.
- Build and steward a network of artists, galleries, cultural institutions, festivals, local partners and funders.
- Protect brand, dignity and careful imagery on sensitive subjects, check every venue and partner before committing, and secure artists' rights to film, photograph and use the work.
Required profile
- 7+ years producing complex projects from idea to delivery (art, live events, exhibitions, media production or similar), running the production yourself; international or cross-country project experience is an advantage.
- A background in art, design, architecture, film, live events or media production is an advantage.
- Strong experience leading external contractors, suppliers and artists.
- English at advanced level (C1).
Required skills
- End-to-end production management: budgets, timelines, suppliers, venues, logistics and installation.
- Briefing, negotiating with and managing contractors and suppliers.
- Artist commissioning, contracts, rights and consents.
- Campaign planning: channels, audiences and earned media.
- Setting impact goals and working with research partners to measure results.
