Accounts Payable Specialist (Remote)

About the role

The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage and process incoming invoices and payments for multiple Trans Globe entities across Central Asia and the Caucasus. Working remotely, you will ensure accurate, timely payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the company’s financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices in QuickBooks Online for several entities, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
• Prepare and execute wire transfers.
• Monitor supplier accounts to keep payments up to date.
• Reconcile supplier statements and promptly resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to supplier inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
• Maintain organized accounts‑payable records.
• Assist with month‑end closing by providing AP reports and reconciliations.
• Enforce internal controls and adhere to company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of accounts payable or accounting experience.
• Experience working in a global, multi‑entity or multi‑country environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks (including QBO), and Xero.
