Accounting Operations Analyst

About the role

You will join Wabtec’s Finance team, collaborating with internal stakeholders, shared‑service groups and external customers. The position supports accurate financial reporting, effective receivables management and timely month‑end close in line with corporate and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage accounts receivable balances.
• Perform account reconciliations with customers and resolve discrepancies.
• Issue electronic tax invoices and delivery notes.
• Control accounting documentation for export transactions.
• Prepare monthly journal entries based on primary documentation and IFRS principles.
• Manage month‑end close activities and ensure timely submission of reports.
• Collect, verify and store all required primary accounting documentation.
• Support audits by providing accurate documentation and explanations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Intermediate proficiency in English (reading, writing, listening, speaking).

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with the 1C accounting system.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP (advantage).
