Video Editor – Paid Social Ads

About the role

Nysonian is seeking a Video Editor to produce high‑performing paid‑social video ads for its portfolio of lifestyle brands. You will turn raw footage, UGC and influencer clips into short‑form ads optimized for Meta, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms, directly influencing purchase decisions and campaign ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and produce video assets for paid social, website and campaign initiatives.
• Craft compelling narratives with strong hooks, pacing and platform‑specific storytelling.
• Transform UGC, influencer content and brand footage into polished, performance‑driven deliverables.
• Integrate motion graphics, captions, music and sound design to boost engagement.
• Convert long‑form content into short‑form formats such as TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters and strategists to align creative with brand and campaign goals.
• Manage multiple projects with fast turnaround while adhering to brand standards.
• Analyze ad performance data and apply testing insights to improve future creatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communications or related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years of video‑editing experience in fast‑paced environments such as agencies, DTC or e‑commerce.
• Strong understanding of content formats and performance dynamics on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other paid‑social channels.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe After Effects.
• Experience using Final Cut Pro.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven video tools such as Runway ML.
