About the role

We are looking for a Lead Contract Management Specialist to oversee the full lifecycle of contracts for large‑scale oil and gas projects. The role involves managing procurement processes before award, supervising contract execution, handling variations, and ensuring proper closure while maintaining compliance and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender documentation, evaluate costs and conduct commercial analysis prior to contract award.
• Mobilise contractors, monitor performance against KPIs, manage reporting and supplier interactions after award.
• Handle contract changes, issue variation orders and maintain related documentation.
• Participate in claim and dispute management, issue contract notices and enforce penalties.
• Control contract‑related costs, invoices, accruals and payments, using SAP and procurement systems.
• Coordinate contract close‑out, reconcile expenses, verify documentation completeness and assess contractor performance.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering, law, economics, finance, commerce or business administration; Master’s degree is a plus.
• CIPS Level 5 (or equivalent) is mandatory; MCIPS/Level 6, MBA or similar qualifications are advantageous.
• 7–9 years of experience in oil‑gas exploration and production projects, both on‑shore and offshore.
• 7–9 years of procurement and contract‑management experience, including pre‑ and post‑award phases.
• Proven track record managing complex contract packages exceeding USD 200 million.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, supplier management and contract processes; English at least Upper‑Intermediate.
