Treasury Specialist – Kazakhstan & Central Asia

About the role

The Treasury Specialist supports treasury operations for Kazakhstan and Central Asia markets, ensuring efficient cash management, compliance with local currency‑control regulations, and timely execution of banking transactions. The role works closely with banks, internal stakeholders and the Global Business Services team to maintain financial controls and support working‑capital management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash balances, manage liquidity and coordinate payment execution with banks and business units.
• Execute and coordinate FX transactions, deposits, loans and other money‑market activities.
• Maintain customer master data, credit limits and monitor accounts receivable in SAP.
• Administer compliance with Kazakhstan currency‑control regulations, register export/import contracts and submit reports to the National Bank.
• Ensure accurate recording of treasury transactions in SAP and other systems, and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in treasury, accounting or a similar function.
• Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan banking legislation, currency‑control and taxation rules.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (including treasury modules).
• Experience using 1C accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Understanding of IFRS accounting principles.
