Service Mechanic

About the role

Epiroc is seeking a Service Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on drilling and mining equipment. The role ensures reliable and safe operation of machinery on customer sites while supporting the company’s sustainable mining initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out technical maintenance, diagnostics and repair of drilling and mining equipment.
• Ensure safe and reliable operation of machinery in the field.
• Identify faults, prepare defect reports and inspection records.
• Repair, modernise and restore components and assemblies.
• Work with hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Control quality of work and material usage.
• Maintain technical documentation and reporting.
• Comply with occupational safety, health and fire‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Technical education (e.g., vocational or engineering).
• Experience repairing and servicing mining, drilling or industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical documentation and schematics.
• Familiarity with drilling, geological exploration or RC‑drilling is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work on customer sites.
