Senior AQA Engineer (Python) – 6‑Month Project

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AQA Engineer with strong Python expertise to join a 6‑month project for a global mobility and urban services platform. You will own the design, implementation and maintenance of automated backend and API tests supporting a high‑scale, multi‑regional service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated backend/API tests using Python and Pytest.
• Test backend services, analyze results and track defects.
• Maintain test plans, test cases and related documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, TechOps and other teams to improve quality processes.
• Contribute to overall testing and quality assurance practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of overall engineering experience.
• 3+ years of test automation experience, primarily on backend services.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with Pytest.
• Hands‑on experience testing REST and gRPC APIs.
• Good understanding of microservices and client‑server architecture.
• Proficiency with Linux, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic SQL knowledge and ability to work with Kafka and/or Kibana.
• Capability to analyze backend service logs and a basic understanding of machine learning concepts.
• Practical use of AI assistants in day‑to‑day engineering work.
