Sales Strategy and Planning Specialist

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Sales Strategy and Planning specialist in Astana, working onsite primarily from an HPE office. Key responsibilities

• Manage complex data and business analyses to develop business plans and make recommendations.
• Build complex statistical and financial models to forecast business performance.
• Define metrics to measure performance, compare actual data with forecasts and set up processes to address performance gaps.
• Lead time-sensitive market research projects and synthesize data to identify trends and next steps.
• Work with cross-functional teams and business leaders to build business plans from historical and forecasted data.
• Develop go-forward recommendations based on potential risks and returns, and contribute to priority projects with complex analyses.
• Identify analytical tools, models and methods for key business decisions.

Required profile

• Typically 4-6 years of experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance or a related function.
• First-level university degree.
• Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology and ability to manage complex data requests.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and to summarize trends from market and industry data.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical thinking, technical analysis and data manipulation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong project management skills.
