Routine Process Method Engineer

About the role

Alstom is seeking a Routine Process Method Engineer to support the industrial infrastructure that keeps locomotives running. You will work on high‑stakes engineering tasks, ensuring critical systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in Make‑or‑Buy (MoB) analysis to optimise project costs.
• Ensure execution of the industrial strategy during operations.
• Manage industrial documentation such as work instructions and task sequences for maintenance, renovation and modernisation projects.
• Provide technical support to operational teams.
• Lead the industrial data team for MMIS, including SAP data setup, parts, tools, BOM and routings.
• Deploy and monitor compliance with central standards, including Lean tools, EHS ergonomics, special processes and IT tools.
• Drive productivity improvements, workload optimisation, NAV time reduction and method‑time reduction.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Good understanding of industrial safety standards and processes.
• Strong analytical thinking.
• Fluent English communication skills.
