Retail Development Manager – Fixed‑Term (1.5 yr)

About the role

Wolt is expanding its Retail Account Management team in Kazakhstan and seeks a self‑driven Retail Development Manager to lead strategic supermarket partnerships. This fixed‑term position (1.5 years) covers maternity‑leave coverage and offers the chance to shape the growth of enterprise clients on a fast‑moving delivery platform.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and structure complex deals with key retail partners, ensuring strong commercial terms for both parties.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with enterprise supermarket accounts, identifying expansion opportunities.
• Analyze business and operational metrics to drive portfolio performance, conduct quality checks, and pinpoint growth areas.
• Collaborate with field stakeholders (store managers, pickers, operations teams) to improve picking times, reduce rejections, and enhance fulfillment quality.
• Plan and execute co‑marketing initiatives that boost sales and increase brand awareness.
• Monitor KPIs, forecast performance, and make data‑informed decisions using dashboards, spreadsheets, and BI tools.
• Set clear performance targets, track progress, and own results against revenue, growth, and partner‑satisfaction metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing enterprise retail accounts and leading a high‑performing team.
