Research Assistant / Post-doctoral Fellow (Civil Services Contract)

About the role

Nazarbayev University School of Medicine, established in 2015 and developed in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, is looking for a Research Assistant / Post-doctoral Fellow on a civil services contract. The position is full-time and based in Astana.

Key responsibilities

• Work with bacterial cells
• Work with mammalian cell culture
• Work with human samples

Required profile

• Degree in Biological Sciences or a related field
• Knowledge of computer science and/or bioinformatics is desirable but not essential
• Final-year students awaiting results are encouraged to apply
• Candidates with a master's degree may have the opportunity to enrol in a PhD
