Project Manager – Mining Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large‑scale mining services operation in Khromtau, Kazakhstan. The role is customer‑focused and operationally driven, overseeing the full scope of mining service activities, maintenance operations, and long‑term service contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of mining service operations and contract execution, ensuring high‑quality delivery aligned with contractual obligations.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, inspection and technical support activities to maximise equipment availability and productivity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer management, act as the primary point of accountability for contract performance and SLA/KPI achievement.
• Manage budgets, costs, profitability, inventory and working capital while supporting contract growth and business improvement initiatives.
• Lead, motivate and develop managers, supervisors, planners, engineers and technicians, fostering a strong service culture.
• Champion safety and compliance, driving continuous improvement in SHEQ performance and promoting a zero‑harm environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in mining or heavy‑industry service environments.
• Strong service background with deep understanding of mining maintenance and aftermarket operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large teams, customer relationships, operational performance and commercial results.
• Track record of delivering contracts safely, on time and within budget in demanding mining settings.
