About the role

The International Payment Systems Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with Visa and MasterCard, ensuring compliance with their standards, and driving the integration of new payment technologies for our e‑commerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain partnership relations with Visa and MasterCard, coordinating joint projects.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with all Visa/MasterCard regulations, including PCI DSS, and manage certification processes.
• Lead the implementation of new services such as 3‑D Secure and tokenization, working closely with development teams.
• Track policy and tariff changes from Visa/MasterCard, update internal procedures, and inform relevant departments.
• Prepare reports for payment networks and resolve transaction disputes and chargebacks together with security and support teams.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, economics or IT.
• 3–5 years of experience in banking, payment systems or internet acquiring; experience with Visa/MasterCard is a strong plus.
• Deep understanding of electronic payment mechanisms and international card regulations.
• Fluent in Russian and English; Kazakh language is a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Organized, responsible, proactive, and able to make decisions within the scope of the role.

Required skills

• PCI DSS compliance knowledge.
• Experience with 3‑D Secure implementation.
• Tokenization technology familiarity.
• Understanding of Visa and MasterCard standards.
