Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance Team Lead

About the role

Ensure the efficient operation of equipment and machinery by overseeing and coordinating the maintenance team's activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage maintenance technicians, including assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring team members are trained and motivated.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies to optimize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and reduce maintenance costs.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and protocols to create a safe work environment and prevent accidents.
• Manage budgets, materials, and resources effectively to meet maintenance goals within allocated resources.
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance, maintenance metrics, and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related technical diploma.
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial environment with knowledge of troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance procedures for industrial equipment and machinery.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
