Maintenance

About the role

The Maintenance team is looking for a reliable professional to respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure the smooth operation of building systems and equipment. You will work on a full‑time schedule at our Astana facility, supporting both interior and exterior maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines; carry necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts and supplies, and document daily activities for shift handover.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs, and replace light bulbs and A/C filters.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical components, and other guestroom items.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Perform interior and exterior landscaping repairs, including sprinkler system maintenance.
• Input air‑handler schedules and adjust temperature settings using computer systems.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, and energy‑conservation practices.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 lb and assist with heavier items when needed.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to safety policies.
• Clear communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
