Information Technology Specialist (Part‑time, Hybrid)

About the role

The Information Technology Specialist will provide technical support to internal users and customers, handling hardware, software, and network issues. This part‑time, hybrid position combines on‑site work in Kazakhstan with remote tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity problems.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and authentication systems.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and hardware.
• Document support requests, actions taken, and resolutions.
• Maintain network security measures and assist with security incident response.
• Support IT infrastructure projects and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance service quality.

Required profile

• Strong IT troubleshooting ability and experience diagnosing technical issues.
• Solid knowledge of network administration and security.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and clear communication skills.
• Experience with operating systems, basic hardware maintenance, and common business software.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks in a part‑time schedule, and collaborate in a hybrid environment.
• Good written and verbal communication in local languages and/or English.
• Relevant technical education, certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco) or equivalent practical experience are a plus.
